Frequently asked questions

What does Medbourne do?

Medbourne is a transaction-led advisory firm for the UK Living Markets, with five services: investment, development, consultancy, valuation and asset management. Every mandate is led by a founding partner.

Who does Medbourne act for?

We act for all capital types across the capital stack: high-net-worth individuals, family offices, propcos, private equity, funds, institutions, REITs, public bodies, housing associations, lenders, credit teams and JV partners, as well as developers and operators. We act for the principal and do not transact on our own account.

How are fees agreed?

Fee basis is agreed in writing in the scoped proposal before any chargeable work begins, structured to fit the mandate, its scope and the outcome the work is tied to.

How does Medbourne handle conflicts of interest?

We confirm our conflict position in writing before accepting a mandate. We are conflict-free, with no platform incentive and no internal cross-sell pressure.

Do you offer asset management?

Yes. Asset management is delivered through our strategic partnership with Astella Asset Management. Medbourne advises directly on investment, development, consultancy and valuation across the UK Living Markets.
